ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that the future of the country depends on the well-educated and skilled youth of the country and in terms of providing quality education, the federal government will enable high-achieving scholarship programs to acquire education in well-known global education. constitution.
These views were expressed by the Prime Minister while meeting Ikramullah, a student from Balochistan province who is now studying in Class 9 at Lawrence College Murree.
Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, a student from the flood-affected area of Qila Saifullah was provided with a facility to pursue his education in a prominent educational institute in the country in 2022.
The prime minister recalled that he met the desperate student at the Khasnoob camp in Qila Saifullah when floods wreaked havoc in Balochistan province in 2022.
He said he assured the student of quality education, adding that he was very pleased that the student was now studying at Lawrence College.
The student thanked the Prime Minister for giving him the opportunity to meet him.
He congratulated the Prime Minister and said he prayed for Shehbaz Sharif for his kind gesture.
The student also expressed his determination to achieve the goal and serve the country in the future.
The Prime Minister advised him to serve the nation and the country by working hard and concentrating on his studies.
He assured that all his education expenses will be borne by the government as students are the future and hope of the country.
The Prime Minister said that when he visited the flood-affected area, the student was in a protest mood but now he is showing a marked change.
He mentioned that they sent the best to the province of Punjab to get education in the best European and Scandinavian countries, who later returned completely transformed and full of self-confidence.
The Prime Minister also welcomed the Principal and Housekeeper of Lawrence College and presented gifts including a pen and a tablet to the student, expressing hope that it would help him in his studies.
Ikaramullah also presented a set of books to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister personally saw off the student from the Prime Minister’s House.
