LAHORE: A written test has been made mandatory for the permanent recruitment of doctors through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), according to a private news channel.
PPSC has started the recruitment process for 900 doctors. The written exam will be worth 100 marks and will cover topics like General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs and Geography.
Further, there will be questions from Maths, English, Urdu, Daily Science and Computer Science.
To qualify for the interview stage, doctors must score at least 40 percent in the exam. Previously, permanent recruitment of doctors was based on interviews only.
