Mardan Medical Complex MTI Board of Governor Member Professor Dr Zia Muhammad inaugurated free eye camp at Baghdada Mardan.
Mardan Save the Life Welfare Foundation has organized a free eye camp at Baghdad in which 206 patients were given free treatment as well as medicines. Doctors from Mardan Medical Complex and Dar ul-Shifa Eye Hospital Takhtbhai examined the patients in the free eye camp. Mardan Medical Complex Board of Governor member and prominent ophthalmologist Professor Dr. Zia Muhammad inaugurated the free eye camp.
Patients attending the camp not only received thorough examinations but were also provided with necessary treatments for various eye-related diseases. During the camp seventy six male and one hundred and twenty nine female patients received free treatment and sixteen were chosen for surgeries.
Dr. Zia Muhammad stated that eyes are a great blessing and its protection is necessary for us. Due to the lack of timely diagnosis of eye diseases, the number of blind people is increasing day by day.
Deputy Director Information Shamsulhaq yousafzai and District Emergency Officer Imran Khan yousafzai also visited the eye camp and meet with the volunteers of foundation. They paid tribute to the volunteers of the Baghdada and said that they will fully support the foundation in such kind of welfare activities.
Maulana Zia Ur Rahman Farooqi President of the Save the Life Welfare Foundation said in his address that this foundation was created to serve the humanity. This is a non-profit organization and we will provide assistance to the needy people beyond political, gender and religious affiliations. So far, the organization has distributed food package, organized free medical camp, cleanliness drive of Baghdada graveyard, distribution of winter package among poor and needy students, while in future the foundation will support widows, orphans and poor people.
On this occasion, Patron in Chief Maulana Abdul Haq, President Maulana Zia-ur-Rehman Farooqi, Chairman NC Baghdad one Ishfaq Lodhi, Vice-Chairman Malik Ilyas, Maulana Jawad Ahmad, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad, Dr. Bilal Yousaf, Fida Hussain, Shahid Hayat Lodhi, Sahibzada Fazal Rabbani, Haji Ihsanul Haq and Mufti Asfandiyar Durrani were also present.
