Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has announced her divorce from her husband Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum through a social media post.
Sheikha Mahra had married businessman Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in April last year, and their daughter was born in May this year. She posted on a social media platform addressing her husband, stating, “When you are busy with others, I announce our divorce. I divorce you. I divorce you. I divorce you. Take care of yourself, your ex-wife.”
Alongside this announcement, Sheikha Mahra deleted all her pictures with her husband from Instagram.
Before Sheikha Mahra’s divorce announcement, she had shared a picture on social media last month with only her daughter, writing, “Just us two.” Social media users also noted that Sheikha Mahra and her husband had recently followed each other on social media.
