LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed her satisfaction with the project of field hospital and clinic on wheels.
In a statement on Sunday, the Chief Minister said steps were being taken to start the first government-run cancer hospital in the province.
He also announced plans to implement a project aimed at establishing a comprehensive cardiology unit in every district.
Acknowledging the benefits of health reform, Maryam said she is increasingly committed to serving the population, especially in areas that lack healthcare infrastructure.
He said these efforts include providing state-of-the-art facilities and continuous improvement to health centers and hospitals in the province.
He explained that multi-patient care services are being actively monitored through field hospitals and clinics on wheels project.
Emphasizing the importance of each sector, the Chief Minister laid special emphasis on the improvement of healthcare facilities in Punjab.
