Islamabad: The special Eid-ul-Fitr train offered by Pakistan Railways has received great response from thousands of tourists visiting their loved ones with a comfortable travel experience.
Passengers thanked Pakistan Railways for making their journey Eid-ul-Fitr with special trains that saved them valuable time and money.
Many passengers and their families were seen at the railway station, who said that the station staff were very helpful in informing them about train timings, platform numbers, tickets and booking issues.
Talking to APP Azhar Rahjou, who arrived at Rawalpindi railway station from Karachi, he said that Pakistan Railways has won the hearts of passengers by significantly improving the performance of Eid-ul-Fitr trains.
Mohammad Ehsan, another passenger, said that if the entire railway station is clean and tidy, the services provided by the management will improve.
Mohammad Ehsan said, even though the roads throughout the country are not good, the train time has improved compared to the previous year.
It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan Railways has four Eid-ul-Fitr special trains.

According to the schedule, the first special train leaves Karachi for Peshawar on 07 April at 6:00 AM and the second special train leaves Quetta for Rawalpindi at 10:00 AM on the same day.
The third train departs from Karachi Cantonment to Lahore at 21:00 on 08 April and the last Eid-ul-Fitr special passenger train departs from Lahore to Karachi at 17:00 on 09 April.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Railway Police has implemented security measures in trains and stations to prevent any untoward incident during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The department has also directed all railway superintendents (SPs) to deploy adequate force at exit and entry points of all railway stations and strictly monitor the behavior of suspicious persons.
Commandos of the Pakistan Railway Police have been deployed on vulnerable equipment and trains, while bomb disposal personnel are on alert at railway stations to search for passengers and passengers.
The official added, “Railway police officers have been instructed to check and search for empty spaces before the train reaches its destination platform.”
