LAHORE: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain has said that the government is providing all possible facilities to pilgrims.
He was speaking at the opening ceremony to honor 287 pilgrims at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore on Friday. Addressing the pilgrims, he said that there will be guests of Allah and Pakistani ambassadors in the holy land and asked them to respect the laws and culture of Saudi Arabia and pray for themselves and their loved ones, especially for peace and prosperity. and happiness in Pakistan and the Muslim world in general.
Pilgrims depart from Allama Iqbal International Airport to Madinah by Serene Air Flight ER-921. The minister said that the pilgrims were unhappy and did not thank God enough. He expressed his pride and honor on this occasion, saying it was a joyful occasion for him to say goodbye to his guests to go to the holy land by the grace of God.
The federal minister said he would visit for three to four days and personally assess the activities there. He assured that all possible steps will be taken to provide facilities and solve the problems faced by Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain said the government of Saudi Arabia had offered him VIP Hajj facilities, but he chose to stay with the country’s pilgrims. He said that the current agreement will be very different from the previous one and the difference will be clear. He said, each pilgrim was given a mobile SIM card, including an application, to guide them in case they lost their way to Mina.
He asked the pilgrims to pray for the safety of the country because the prayers are far away. Earlier, Director Punjab Hajj Center Lahore Rizwan Shafiq and General Manager Civil Aviation Nasir Ahmed Khan also spoke on the occasion and said that the best facilities are provided by the special orders of the government, especially the federal minister for religious affairs. pilgrims during their journey.
