Islamabad: In response to the attack on the Pakistan Embassy in Germany and the removal of the national flag by protesters, members of the federal cabinet have launched a ‘Respect the Flag’ campaign.
Federal ministers shared photos with the Pakistani flag on social media and wrote messages expressing their deep love for the national flag.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar along with federal ministers Owais Laghari, Abdul Aleem Khan, Rana Tanveer and Atta Tarar, among others, released pictures with the national flag.
Notably, last week, Afghan residents in Frankfurt, Germany created a disturbance and pelted stones in front of the Pakistani consulate during which they also removed the Pakistani flag.
