Islamabad: The federal government has completed 91 of the 177 ongoing development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Department of Development and Planning, the total cost of this project is $1.361 billion. Most of the affected projects are up to 70% complete. Prominent projects among the closures include the second phase of the Swat Highway and the Karak Petroleum Institute.
In addition, the Fuel Center at Bathela Children’s Health Institute Hospital, the Sarozai Dam in Hangu and the Tanda Dam expansion have been taken out of the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).
SIFC approved Chashma Right Bank canal gravity project has also been removed.
In addition, the department informed that Mardan University of Engineering and Women and some road construction projects have been excluded from PSDP.
