WANA: An explosion took place in a junk shop in Wana’s Rustam bazar of South Waziristan Lower district on Monday.
Officials said, in which four people were injured while the police SHO escaped unhurt, and all the injured persons are civilians.
Officials said, they are said to be slightly injured.
A police official says that an explosive device exploded in broad daylight in a junk shop in Rustam bazar Wana of South Waziristan Lower District.
At the time SHO of City Wana police station Razaullah was passing by, however, four people were injured when the IED exploded.
While the SHO of City Police station Wana Razaullah, who was on patrol in the market at that time,he narrowly escaped again.
According to the preliminary investigation report, the explosives had already been planted near a scrap car shop near Allah Noor Pump Wana.
Officials said, all the injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, wana, where the doctors have said that his condition is out of danger.
After the explosion, the police cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation and later the area was cleared.
Later, an independent candidate for PK-110 constituency, Taj Wazir visited District Headquarters Hospital, wana, where he visited all the injured and assured full cooperation from his side.
