SWAT: At least Four-people including a tourist were killed and Six others were sustained injured during various incidents in Swat district.
According to SHO Malam Jabba police station Javed Iqbal, the tourist vehicle number LES2031 was returning from Malam Jabba due to brake failure at Sar kamar area and the driver lost control and fell into the ditch. As a result, one tourist, Israr r/o Bannu, fell from the vehicle and died on the spot, while the other six persons, Said Mohammad, Fidaullah, Khog Nawaz, were injured.
They have been shifted to Manglawar Hospital for immediate medical assistance.
On the other hand, unidentified motorcyclists opened fire and killed a person in Gharai area of Matta Tehsil of Swat. According to the police, Fiftytwo-year-old Afsar Nawab r/o Kamalay area was going to Gharai Bazar to sell milk when unknown motorcyclists opened fire on him on Link Road and he died on the spot.
His body was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Matta for postmortem and the police have registered a case against the unknown accused and started searching by getting the CCTV footages.
Apart from this, Two-young brothers died due to electric shock in Usho village of Kalam valley of Swat.
According to the police, 13-year-old Salahuddin and 18-year-old Ahmed Zeb, sons of Muhammad Yousaf, were watering their fields when one of the brothers’ hoe hit an electric wire and the second brother hit the wire while trying to save him and both died due to severe electric shock.
Their bodies were later shifted to Kalam Hospital for legal proceedings.
