KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy continued its efforts to improve the standard of healthcare available along the country’s coasts on Tuesday by setting up a free medical camp in the coastal village of Kappar, Balochistan.
According to a Pakistan Navy news release, doctors and paramedic workers from the Sahil Welfare Association worked together to build a free medical camp.
Hundreds of patients, including women and children, received free medical care at this medical camp. Patients were checked by a committed group of medical professionals and paramedics from GDMO, Medical, ENT, General Surgeon, Gynecologist, and Skin Specialist. They were also given free medical advice and prescription drugs.
Additionally, information regarding maternal health and the dietary needs of both mothers and children was disseminated to the local populace. The patients received education on common infections, hygiene, personal health, child healthcare, illness prevention, and living area sanitation.
Pakistan Navy is dedicated to continuing to offer top-notch medical care to the residents in the coastal area. The Pakistan Navy’s commitment to improving the coastal belt is demonstrated in practice by the construction of a medical camp at Kappar.
