The federal government has approved a three-day Eid holiday from June 17 to June 19.
Sources said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the summary sent by the Cabinet.
This incident happened last week after sighting the Zil Hajj moon on June 7, while celebrating Eid al-Fitr on June 17.
The festival falls on the 10th day of Zil Hajj and celebrates the pilgrimage.
Livestock markets are established in various places near the sacrifice festival, where people buy cows, goats, sheep and camels for sacrifice.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways announced a 25% discount on fares as a special package for passengers on the occasion of Eid.
This discount will be available on all trains and classes except special trains.
