ISLAMABAD – Government on Tuesday reduced fuel prices by $8.42 per liter for next two days.
Gasoline prices fell by $5.45 per liter and diesel by $8.42 per liter. The new rates are implemented from May 1.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has sent a summary of oil prices to the Minister of Petroleum, which has been approved by the Prime Minister.
In particular, global crude oil prices have fluctuated over the past 15 days, with Brent currently trading at $88.50 per barrel.
The price correction comes after the last hike on April 16, when petrol prices rose by $4.53 per liter and high-speed diesel by $8.14 per litre.
