Advocate Aqeel Malik, the federal government’s legal affairs spokesman, spoke at a press conference in Islamabad shortly after the IHC acquitted a top PTI leader in the encryption case.
In relief to the former ruling party, the IHC set aside the decision of Imran and Qureshi in the infamous cipher case involving the alleged misuse and misappropriation of a secret diplomatic document.
Barrister Akeel said the coded case was an “indisputable truth”.
He alleged that the former prime minister had inserted secret documents in the public meeting, while chief secretary Azam Khan also admitted about the “missing copy of the code”.
“There is nothing more important than our national security. “The prosecutor will decide to challenge the decision of the IHC after the decision is complete,” he said.
