Islamabad: The government in collaboration with Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) plans to set up around 10,000 e-Job Centers across the country to facilitate freelancers under one roof.
“E-Rozgar centers that have been set up by the government provide high-end facilities to freelancers such as high-speed internet, UPS, training centers, private cabins, meeting rooms and dedicated office space for startups,” he said. Ministry of Information Technology.
The government says it has fulfilled its promise to the public by enabling a significant number of the existing 1.5 million freelancers, as well as new hires, to become self-employed at very low prices.
Through public-private partnership, this center significantly increases the opportunities and income of freelancers.
“We have taken all the necessary steps to build a strong digital ecosystem in Pakistan and utilize existing forums to establish Pakistan as an international ‘Technology Hub’,” he said.
