Karachi: Over 3,545 women artisans from various districts of Sindh exhibited at the 15th Sartyoon Sang Art Exhibition held at Clifton, Dolmen Mall, Karachi.
The exhibition will open to the public on Wednesday, May 15, and run until Sunday, May 17, 2024.
The three-day exhibition organized by the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) in collaboration with the Government of Sindh aims to showcase the work of women artists from rural Sindh and provide market linkages.
The Mayor of Karawang, Advocate Murtaza Wahab will inaugurate the exhibition at 5 pm (Wednesday).
Various shops have been established in the main hall of the mall, displaying clothing, accessories, tools, accessories, leather bags, bedding and other traditional items.
SSRO has been holding exhibitions for the past fifteen years, and visitors are attracted by handmade household items and other traditional products.
SRSO Chief Executive Muhammad Dittal Kalhoro said the event was aimed at generating better income for rural women artisans of Sindh.
