ATTOCK: The Higher Education Department, under the auspices of the Government of Punjab, organized the Divisional Badminton Tournament at the Sports Complex in Attock. Teams from across the division participated in the event. The final match was played with great enthusiasm yesterday, in which the Government Graduate College Attock’s team defeated the team from Government College Jhelum. After an intense competition, the team from Government College Attock emerged victorious. The successful team from the divisional matches will now represent Rawalpindi Division in the Provincial Badminton Championships. People and personalities associated with education and sports in Rawalpindi Division have congratulated Principal Professor Khalid Javaid Siddiqui, Sports Professor Ehtesham Aziz, and the winning team on their success. At the end of the matches, prizes were distributed among the players.
