Islamabad:- Opposition leader and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub said that the hybrid system has destroyed the foundations of the country.
Addressing the media outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Barrister Gohar of FIA and PTI leader, Raoof Hassan informed them about the controversial tweet and video about the 1971 controversy and the Hamood-Ur-Rehman Commission report. .
The opposition leader announced that he would challenge the FIA notification in Parliament and in court. Also, despite the IHC order, the PTI secretariat announced that it has filed a petition against Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad for contempt of court for illegal sealing.
He said that the ‘Rawat’ ground designated by the Islamabad administration for PTI’s mass meeting is located 30 km away from Islamabad.
He also said that the main highway of Srinagar should be marked for public meetings as Islamabad has many places like Tarnol for public meetings.
He asserted that the party leaders would dare to be prosecuted and acquitted of the cases against them. He said, PTI leaders Alia Hamza and Sanam Javed were imprisoned.
The jailed SP said he was influential and could not free the PTI chief. He also raised the issue of affecting prison management and asked: “Do monsters affect prison management? “This issue should be raised,” he said.
He also rejected the credibility of the current government: “Is this a banana republic? We do not accept this regime and this hybrid system is destroying the foundations of Pakistan.”
