DUBAI: Sri Lankan cricketer Kamindu Mendis has won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for March 2024, beating rivals like Ireland’s Mark Adair and New Zealand’s Matt Henry.
The feat marks Mendis as the third Sri Lankan player to hold the prestigious title after Prabath Jayasuriya and Wanindu Hasaranga.
After receiving the award, Mendis expressed his happiness and gratitude, becoming a source of inspiration to continue his journey in international cricket.
