Islamabad: KPK Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that political stability is a vital need for economic prosperity and development of the country and the only way forward is through the “prosperity charter” by making welfare decisions. the crowd He said this while addressing an award ceremony held at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday evening to honor the Commission and business community leaders for their achievements in developing entrepreneurs in Islamabad.
Appreciating the contribution of business groups to the development of the country, the KPK Governor said that the government should facilitate business groups and agriculture by providing cheap electricity to the two industries to overcome the current economic crisis. He said that KPK and Gilgit Baltistan can utilize tourism opportunities to earn enough foreign exchange and for this purpose business community should be encouraged and facilitated. He said, the Governor’s Building was opened for businessmen, especially ICCI, to prepare an action plan to develop tourist attractions in the province and attract foreign tourists. He also assured full cooperation for the development of the Industrial State at any point of connection between the two provinces.
Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who participated in the event, said that in every society, business groups are considered as pillars of the economy and Pakistani business groups also play an important role in economic development and employment. . He called political stability, business friendly policies of the government and economic stability as the key needs to play at the level of Pakistan to achieve the necessary goals.
He said that the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also working hard to achieve this goal by playing the role of a bridge between the government and the business community to facilitate business. He said the business group fully supports the expansion of the tax net and opposes tax evasion, but is looking for basic facilities for their businesses. Citing the initiative of ICCI to promote tourism and exports of the country, the governor asked for help from the KPK to provide suitable land for the industry for this purpose.
Appreciating the important role played by Faisal Karim Kundi as KPK Governor, Secretary General Zafar Bagthawari said that Islamabad’s business community considers Mr. Kundi as Governor and believes that the relevant parties will know about it. problems to solve quickly.
