RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Tuesday termed the decision of President Dr. Arif Alvi not to call the meeting of the National Assembly as absolutely justified.
Talking to reporters at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, the party founder said that his party had won the general elections but reserved seats were not given to it.
“The 9th of May was used to end the party. The party did not end due to oppression, but became the strongest party,” he claimed.

He also spoke about writing a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which he said was “treasonous”.
“I can’t write anything from jail. I dictated a letter to the IMF,” he said, lamenting that he has not been able to meet party leaders since then.
“After today’s consultation with party leaders, a letter will be sent to the IMF.”
In his letter to the fund, Khan said he would write that “economic stability cannot come without political stability.”
