Peshawar: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) has suspended an inspector, sub-inspector, ASI and 14 other police officers in an operation accused of helping drug peddlers.
According to the order of the SSP operation office, 14 policemen have been suspended and sealed with the relevant charge sheet and summary charge filed separately with immediate effect.
These officers include Inspector Javed Akhtar, Sub Inspector Naeem Khan and Iftikhar Ahmad, ASI Akram Jan, IHCs Abid Ali, Safdar Shah and Lal Shad, LHC Kamil, Ijaz and Subhan Ullah, Head Constable Shafiq and Constables Kazim, Saddam and Waqas.
