ISLAMABAD: PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui on Wednesday advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to stop alleging machinations and focus only on public affairs as mutual unity is urgently needed for political and economic stability in the country.
In an interview to a private news channel, he said that the country can move forward with unity, discipline and faith and the trend of blame game started by the PTI chairman is breaking all three and ultimately weakening the country.
The PML-N leadership remains steadfast in its determination to lead Pakistan through its current economic and political challenges with a focus on unity, effective governance and public welfare, he added.
He stressed the importance of avoiding baseless accusations and confusion during this critical phase for the country.
Answering a question, he confirmed that the general elections were conducted in a fair, free and transparent manner, adding that PTI should not worsen the situation as dialogue is the only way to end the current political chaos in the country. “The PTI leadership is only pushing the country to a much bigger crisis by hatching such conspiracies and blame game politics,” he added.
