KHYBER: Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, the central leader of Jammet-t-Islami (JI), has stated that ensuring basic laymen’s rights is part of the Jamaat-e-Islam (JI) program. Instead of serving the people, the authorities have stolen the country for the past seven decades.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan stated his views while addressing a public gathering hosted by JI, Khyber as part of the election campaign on Wednesday evening in Takia, Sultan Khel village of Landi Kotal.
He stated that the JI’s participation in the election was to provide a true Islami welfare state in which every person of the country has access to free education, health care, and justice, among other things.
He stated that if JI takes power, it will abolish slavery in America and Europe, as well as the incentives enjoyed by the 1% privileged class.
He slammed Khyber’s ex-parliamentarian, claiming that the tribesmen continue to be denied access to drinkable water, health care, and other basic necessities.
He asked people to vote for JI candidates and shun those who had embezzled development monies in the past rather than working for the people’s welfare.
Mushtaq Ahmad Khan expressed his discontent with the restrictions imposed at the Torkham border and requested that people be provided with economic opportunities.
JI candidates for NA-27 and PK-69 are Shah Faisal Afridi and Haji Muqtader.
