ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Aamer Farooq has said that technology is entering the legal profession and all members should adapt to technology.
Chief Justice Farooq said that the judicial problems were not over and would continue. He said that since 2023 many facilities have been provided to the claimants.
He said that there is an era of artificial intelligence. He said notices will be sent via email and SMS and that electronic notice is convenient for plaintiffs.
The Chief Justice said that they have started electronic notification in Islamabad and online proceedings are also going on. He said they started automating it used to be difficult to comply with subpoenas or notices.
He said that notification tracking system is also being implemented in the judiciary. The management information system is also available online. He said that all the details of the case will be known from the information machine.
The Chief Justice of the IHC said that the matter of appointment of new judges in Islamabad was still ongoing and would be completed soon. The training program for new lawyers is a welcome initiative.
He further urged not to break the relationship with the book and the law.
The president of the court said that the problems of the common man must be solved together. He said the bar was their home and they would solve the problems.
