Islamabad: In the midst of the recent surge in malware attacks, independent security testing organization SE Labs has given Kaspersky’s anti-malware solutions the highest possible rating. Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business, Kaspersky Small Office Security, and Kaspersky Plus were put through a variety of targeted assaults that combined threats that were currently active on the internet with tried-and-true tactics. All three goods received a “AAA” awards certificate and the maximum 1136 points that could be given.
A recent global analysis by Kaspersky indicates that in the previous two years, malware attacks caused cyber incidents in 28% of firms worldwide. Because employees downloaded malware, the bulk of cyber events happened in financial institutions, telecommunications firms, and vital infrastructures like electricity, oil, and gas.
Kaspersky Small Office Security and Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business were examined in the “small business” and “enterprise” categories of SE Labs’ anti-malware protection test, respectively, while Kaspersky Plus was evaluated in the “home” section. Through the use of test scenarios that simulated actual cyberattacks, manufacturers were able to demonstrate the detection, prevention, and mitigation capabilities of endpoint security systems.
The “Protection Accuracy Rating” gave all Kaspersky products the highest score of 400 since they were able to identify and stop all threats before they could compromise the system. Additionally, the products properly classified legal applications and URLs, earning a maximum of 736 points in the “Legitimate Accuracy Ratings.” The final “Total Accuracy Rating” score, which was 1136 out of a possible point total, showed that Kaspersky anti-malware protection is 100% successful. Once more, Kaspersky products won the “AAA” title and were the best in their respective areas.
“Malware is one of the most prevalent types of attacks in the world, and with the development of cybersecurity solutions, threat creators are searching for new ways to bypass security systems. We perform researches into our systems and our solutions to uncover flaws and create and enhance proactive counter technologies correspondingly.” comments Usman Qureshi, Country representative for Pakistan at Kaspersky.
“Our testing assists vendors in making improvements to their products and customers in selecting the best products to safeguard their home and business devices. Once again, Kaspersky concluded 2023 with outstanding results, demonstrating the products’ 100% anti-malware defensive capabilities in our testing conducted at home and in businesses. remarks Simon Edwards, SE Labs’ founder and CEO.
