Islamabad: With the tireless effort of CEO Kamran Hamid Raja, Khyber TV, the leading Pashto-language television channel, marked its 20th anniversary with a spectacular award show at its headquarters in Islamabad. The event, held in the Gulab Khan Auditorium, was attended by a galaxy of stars, screen faces, and behind-the-scenes professionals.
Its the effort of CEO that Khyber TV marks this incredible journey of 20 years. On this historical moment CEO Khyber TV Kamran Hamid Raja said that:
“As I look back at our journey, I am filled with pride and gratitude,” said Mashar, CEO of Khyber TV, fondly called “Mashar” (meaning “Leader” or “Elder” in Pashto) by his Khyber family. “Our team has been the pillar of our success, and tonight, we honor their hard work and dedication.”
The award show, themed “Shal Kala BeMisala” (20 Years of Unparalleled Performance), recognized outstanding contributions in various categories. “Our top management is our strength, and we call them Satoon e Khyber (pillars of Khyber),” said the Director of StratCom and PR, explaining the reason behind the title. “They have been the backbone of our organization, and we are proud to acknowledge their efforts.”
The COO of Khyber TV added, “We have always strived to provide quality content to our audience, and our team has made it possible. Tonight, we celebrate their achievements and our 20-year journey together.”
Three special awards were given to the biggest stars of Khyber TV – Meena Shams, Zaki ur Rehman, and Arif Qazi – who have been an integral part of the channel’s success. “These individuals have been instrumental in shaping our content and entertaining our audience,” said Mashar. “We are honored to have them as part of our team.”
Meena Shams, winner of the Khybereena Award, has been a household name in Pashto entertainment for decades. Zaki ur Rehman, recipient of the Imtiaz e Khyber award, has been a pioneer in Pashto Entertainment. Arif Qazi, winner of the Nishan e Khyber award, has been a remarkable driving force behind Khyber Network’s overall success.
As Khyber TV embarks on its next chapter, the award show marked a milestone in its journey, celebrating the achievements of its team and the trust of its audience.
