Peshawar: In his latest jibe at the incumbent government on Friday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif got into Parliament through a “flawed” Form 47, reiterating that the “worst manipulation in history” had taken place in a recent election year.
“The present government at the Center was formed after stealing 180 seats from PTI,” CM Gandapur said while talking to reporters outside the court on Friday. He further said that it would be pointless to talk to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as he himself became a legislator on the basis of Form 47 results while criticizing the 2024 general elections.
When the issue of encryption resurfaced following US Deputy Secretary of State Donald Lu’s testimony before a congressional panel, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party insisted that the party’s position on the diplomatic cable remained unchanged as it was a “conspiracy”. and foreign “intervention” in Pakistan’s internal affairs.
“The code was a conspiracy […] our position is still the same.” Pointing to Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US, Gandapur added that Asad Majeed confirmed the truth of Luo’s statement regarding the cipher and if no meeting took place, he should be questioned about the exact source of the cipher.
The chief minister also asked why PTI founder Imran Khan was convicted if the cipher did not exist according to Luo’s testimony. He said his party will not accept any kind of foreign intervention in the country at any cost. The KP CM further said that the incumbent government could not perform due to lack of support from the citizens.

To a question, Gandapur replied that the PTI founder would never accept any deal with the present rulers. To another question, he said that he deals with public affairs in KP. He added that the center has to pay the due funds of KP province.
Notably, some political parties, including the one founded by Imran, have alleged that the Returning Officers (ROs) tampered with the 2024 election results by not following the Form 45 entries prepared by the Presiding Officers (POs) at the polling stations. and in Form 47 published completely different results.
Gandapur made the above remarks after appearing before various courts to seek relief in various cases. The Chief Minister, along with his lawyers, attended a hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad and applied for anticipatory bail in a case related to vandalism at a court complex in the federal capital.
The ATC approved CM Gandapura’s anticipatory bail application and directed him to furnish a bond of Rs 50,000. During the hearing, Gandapur’s counsel said that the politician was nominated in the First Information Report (FIR) but had no connection with the court complex vandalism incident as he was not present there.
Advocate Raja Zahoorul Hassan told the court that 50 FIRs were lodged against the politician but he was forcibly prevented from entering the court halls. Later, Gandapur headed to Islamabad Kachehri to suspend arrest warrants issued by the courts of civil magistrate and judicial magistrate in separate cases registered at Bani Gala police station and Golra police station.
