TALASH: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Secretary Mahmood Aslam Wazir issued an order to pay the unpaid salaries of the Integrated Health Project (Lady Health Workers) by December 25. There was a wave of happiness among the affected IHP women workers. A delegation of the leaders of the Shaheen Union of Lady Health Workers, led by the provincial general secretary of the union, Ishrat Malik, along with the provincial secretary of health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Aslam Wazir, visited the health office of the Shaheen Union of Lady Health Workers in connection with the salaries of the lady health workers that had been closed for a long time. The delegation met in the Secretariat Peshawar. The delegation included General Secretary Ishrat Malik, Provincial Vice President of Union, Fahmida Khattak and Sabiha Khan and others. In addition to the non-payment of other privileges, he complained in detail about the non-payment of the salaries of the affected women IHP employees and informed them about the problems faced by them due to the non-payment of salaries. The Integrated Health Project has issued a notification to the AG Office regarding the immediate payment of the unpaid salaries of the lady health workers, saying that the salary amount will be transferred to the accounts of the affected women employees by December 25, along with their salaries. He strongly assured to regularize, increase the salaries and give other benefits. Secretary Health Mehmood Aslam Wazir told the meeting delegation led by Ishrat Malik that the main reason for non-payment of salaries on time is lack of funds. He praised the delegation and said that we have always helped the oppressed and affected people. Inshallah Integrated Health Project will gradually solve the problems faced by lady health workers. On which there was a wave of happiness among the affected employees. And at the end of the meeting, the provincial general secretary of Shaheen Union of Lady Health Workers and the delegation’s responsible women presented a bouquet of flowers to the Secretary Health Mehmood Aslam Wazir and expressed their sincere gratitude for the immediate release of the unpaid salaries of the IHP women employees.
