Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to set up a judicial commission into the May 9 incident.
The provincial government announced that it will present the summary to the cabinet for approval.
A summary of the events of the May 9 regime change has been prepared.
The petition for the formation of a judicial panel will be submitted to the Peshawar High Court (PHC) after summary approval.
According to the KP government, the summary included the arrest and burning of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and workers on May 9.
In summary, there is also the problem of banning PTI from the ‘bat’ election symbol in the general election and temporary control of the government beyond the legal requirement of 90 days.
The KP government has also added a summary of form-45 and Form-47 issues.
