He issued a stern warning to food businesses, saying it was important to comply with government-mandated prices or face legal consequences.
Toru directed the district administration and food department officials to ensure the availability of food to the people at the price approved by the government, warning that immediate action would be taken against the officers found guilty.
The provincial minister appealed to citizens to immediately report the artificial price increase to the food department and provide proof of responsible citizenship. He affirmed the commitment of the provincial government to provide assistance to the people by doing all the necessary means.
