Islamabad: Following severe flooding caused by heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has responded quickly to distribute 9,000 shelters and non-food items (NFI). the urgent needs of the affected community.
These relief supplies, which include essential items such as shelter, solar panels, blankets, plastic sheets, kitchen sets, water coolers and antibacterial soap, have provided comprehensive support to 63,000 people providing essential assistance at this critical time.
This assistance directly benefited the flood victims in five districts of KP (Dir Upper, Lower Chitral, Swat, Charsada, D.I. Khan) and three districts of Balochistan (Gwadar, Chagi, Pishin). This initiative was implemented in close cooperation with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the respective provincial governments of KP and Balochistan through the Hayat Foundation.
