WAH: The Kubix Club of Haripur University has partnered with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) for the Asia-Pacific region to promote tourism cooperation and student exchange.
According to details, the meeting was held on Sunday evening at Taxila Museum and was attended by Kubix Club Patron General Ishtiaq Hussain and UNWTO Asia-Pacific Representative Ms. Eun Ji Tae.
Ishtiaq Hussain said that Kubix Club has become a major platform for cultural and educational initiatives.
During the meeting, both parties discussed possible opportunities for joint projects aimed at cultural exchange, the development of educational tourism and the development of sustainable tourism experiences.
Hussain said the two sides look forward to further cooperation, including student exchange programs, cultural immersion initiatives, research and projects related to tourism, as well as capacity building and training.
“We are pleased to establish this partnership with UNWTO, which is in line with our goal to promote tourism and cultural understanding among students,” he said.
This collaboration is expected to open new avenues for students to gain international experience and skills while improving their understanding of international tourism and cultural dynamics.
