ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for the Affairs of Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan and States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Engr Amir Muqam has said that laborers deserve special attention not only.
In his International Labor Day message, the Federal Minister stated that it is imperative to take steps to protect workers’ rights by strictly enforcing labor laws.
He said manpower is the backbone of our country’s economy.
Engr Amir Muqam said a stronger and prosperous working class will lead to a developed and prosperous nation.
“Our great religion, Islam, emphasizes the principles of social justice, fairness and respect for people’s rights,” he added.
Engr Amir Muqam said the role of working class is vital for national development and prosperity.
