LOWER CHITRAL: In the context of climate change, the Youth Office of Lower Chitral organized a monsoon plantation campaign here on Thursday under the direction of Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhowa Sayed Fakhar Jahan.
Officials said, this plantation campaign was inaugurated by Director Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhowa Dr. Noman Mujahid, on this occasion, along with Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Imran Khan Lower Chitral, Director Muhammad Zubair Khan Khattak, Assistant Director Sardar Muhammad Irfan Ali, and Youth Officer Sardar Ali Wazir were also present.
A function was held after launching the Monsoon Plantation Campaign, while the youth, women and officers of Lower Chitral actively participated in this monsoon planting campaign and event, and a walk was also organized regarding the plantation campaign.
The participants of the Monsoon Plantation Campaign made a strong appeal to the common citizens, to plant more trees and small plants so that we can cope with this climate change.
Said the participants, because we are facing severe heat waves in our country and planting trees is the only and best solution to this problem.
