LOWER DIR: Like other parts of the province the black day for Kashmir was observed in the Lower Dir district to express solidarity with the Kashmiris struggle for freedom. The district administration and the sports department arranged a function at the district council hall which was attended by administration officers, students of various government and private schools and members from the civil society. The function was addressed by additional deputy commissioner Abdul Wali Khan, assistant commissioner Dr Nida Iqbal, social activist Ebrash Pasha and others. They said the India forces had besieged 9 million Kashmiris on the gun point in the Indian Held Kashmir. The speakers said that several resolutions of the UNO supported the Kashmiris’ stand but those were not implemented. They said that Pakistanis were fully supporting their Kashmiri brothers in their fight against the Indian aggression.
