At the heart of Peshawar, the Bint-e-Hawa Forum (BHF) hosted the 3rd Bint-e-Hawa Achievement Awards 2024 at the Monal Marquee Cantt. The event, co-sponsored by the Directorate of Youth Affairs – KP and the Bank of Khyber, was a grand celebration recognizing the outstanding achievements of talented women. A total of 35 awards were distributed across 10 categories, highlighting the diverse contributions of these remarkable individuals.
In the Healthcare & Social Work category, honorees included Dr. Tahira Nishtar, Dr. Nazli, Hasina Zahoor, and Ms. Mahvesh Ali Khan. The Women Empowerment & Entrepreneurship category recognized Ms. Qurat-ul-Ain, Ms. Fanagis Azim, Ms. Sidra Farooqi, and Ms. Saima Mehboob for their efforts. The Sports category celebrated the accomplishments of Ms. Salma Marwat, Ms. Mahnoor Ali, Ms. Hadi Kamal, and Ms. Husna.
The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ms. Shabina Ayaz, Ms. Tabassum Adnan, and Lieutenant General Nigar Johar. In the Journalism & Freelancing category, Ms. Meena Shams, Ms. Nadia Saboohi, Ms. Muskan Safi, Ms. Wagma Feroz, and Ms. Khalida Niaz were honored.
Awards for Extraordinary Talent went to Ms. Huda Sethi, Ms. Mehreen Ishfaq, Ms. Spogmay Mahsood, and Ms. Madiha Salman. The Education & Literature category saw recognition for Dr. Shahida Sardar, Ms. Bushra Ahmad, Ms. Malghalara Bakhtiar, and Ms. Bushra Ahmad.
The Social Activist & IT category highlighted the work of Ms. Kiran Nabila, Ms. Zunaira Rehman, Ms. Nadia Qureshi, Ms. Staish Ansar, and Ms. Sadia Farooq from DHA Marketing. Additionally, the Bank of Khyber honored Ms. Madiha Kamran (BOK Area Manager Lahore), Ms. Nida Jamal (BOK Relationship Manager Mardan Complex Branch), and Ms. Kashmala Zaman (K S Dining).
This event showcased the remarkable achievements and contributions of women across various fields, inspiring future generations to strive for excellence.
Approximately 500 participants, including notable figures like Ms. Fauziah Mahmood Head of Marketing from Bank of Khyber, and Mr. Zeeshan Hameed GM – Marketing and Sales from Shama Cooking Oil and Banaspati, attended the event.
Ms. Fauziah Mehmood commended the efforts of BHF and expressed her commitment to supporting similar initiatives in the future. The CEO of BHF, Mr. Alamzeb, shared his vision of empowering young talents and creating a lasting legacy of excellence and innovation.
