Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund are starting to show glimpses of a strong connection, according to Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, following the attackers’ goals in Sunday’s 2-2 Premier League draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
After Rashford had put United back ahead, Hojlund’s early goal was cancelled out by Richarlison, and Rodrigo Bentancur again leveled for Spurs.
Rashford has scored four goals in the league this season, while Hojlund has only scored two. Despite this, the two seem to be becoming closer and were involved in each other’s goal progression.

Ten Hag told reporters, “I hope they keep going with this progress.” “You see they are coming up with routines – that is what you need.”It is vital everywhere, but it is particularly important on the front lines where judgments must be made quickly and in confined spaces. You need that intuition because you need to make the appropriate decisions in a split second.
“When your front players are not scoring, it goes through the whole team. It makes everyone insecure, starting with the front players, because they are of course eager when they’re not scoring and play with less confidence.”
