ISLAMABAD: The first part of mandatory Hajj ritual training for Government Scheme pilgrims will begin on February 12 in seven Haji centers across the country.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony said in a statement that around 69,000 government scheme pilgrims will be trained in two phases throughout the country.
The second training phase would begin following the holy month of Ramadan. Details about the training plan will be sent to successful pilgrims via mobile messages via the Hajj app. Hajj pilgrims will attend training seminars in handy local locations.
According to the spokesman, the top hajj trainer, while addressing the ministry’s 90 officers and officials during a training session, stated that special emphasis has been placed on Hajj rituals, as well as discipline and administrative concerns.
Ahmed Nadeem Khan, the Ministry’s Joint Secretary Administration, has already prepared the training curriculum, together with Director General Syed Mushahed Hussain Khalid and Chief Trainer Nasir Aziz Khan.
Hajj training will be provided at seven Hajj camps located in various areas. According to the trainers, the new lengthy training program will cover the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app, Hajj preparation guidance, ritual comprehension, dealing with obstacles during Hajj, and general directions.
The chief trainer stated that model tents of Mina Valley design have been installed in the training facilities. Pilgrims will receive advice from Master Trainers through 3D movies and interactive question-and-answer sessions.
