Washington DC: “Russia’s grief is our grief as Pakistan has become the target of terrorism again and again,” wrote Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States.
“I am here to express solidarity with the Russian Federation and its people regarding the horrific attack on Crocus Hall,” he noted.
“Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” the ambassador added.
Ambassador Masood Khan wrote these remarks while recording condolences during his visit to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Washington DC.
Upon arrival, Ambassador Masood Khan was warmly received by his Russian counterpart Ambassador Anatoly Antonov at the entrance of the building.
During his speech, the ambassador expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of terrorism and to the entire Russian nation.
“With courage, dignity and patience, we salute the Russian people who are facing this tragedy,” the ambassador wrote.
Ambassador Antonov thanked Ambassador Masood Khan for his visit as he saw him off.
