In the biggest seizure of its kind in Pakistan’s history, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized a huge amount of 224 kilograms of methamphetamine, known as meth ice, intended to be smuggled to Belgium.
The shipment of narcotics is linked to the export of soapstone from Afghanistan.
The ANF has arrested three suspects in connection with the smuggling operation, including two men from Afghanistan who sent the container.
The suspects were arrested while trying to flee across the Torkham border into Afghanistan.
