WANA: Maulana Mehmood Alam Wazir, an independent candidate from South Waziristan Lower and Upper Constituency NA-42, said while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the election office on Friday.
He said, we do not do politics to take percentage and commission, we do politics for the interpretation of the nation and their rights in the true sense.
On this occasion, Wazir, Suleman Khel and Dottani tribal elders and Ullams announced their full support in favor of independent candidate Maulana Mehmood Alam.
Chief Malik Allauddin, Maulana Sakhi, Maulana Shamsur Rehman, Malik Ashiq, Malik Gulab and others also addressed the office opening ceremony.
Later, Maulana Muhammad Alam Wazir, the candidate of constituency NA-42, made it clear while addressing that in the earlier periods, MNA,s and MPA,s deceived the tribal elders and youth with various enthusiastic slogans and so this time the nation has come to the consciousness, they will reject such leaders and cast their votes on February 8.
He said that this time I am contesting as an independent if I win, so Wazir, Suleman Khel and Dottani will deal with most of the tribal issues, solving these issues is among the top priorities.
Maulana Mehmood Alam said that I will not allow anyone to bargain on these collective rights and interests.
Maulana Mehmood Alam said that after winning the election, he will be functional the non-functional government educational institutions and I will work hard to provide quality education to the people.
He also said that due to poverty, our male and female students here are unable to study after matriculation, therefore, a university campus will be established here in Waziristan to spread quality education.
Maulana Mehmood Alam said that there are land disputes between tribals in our Lower Waziristan and Upper Waziristan their solution is the first priority.
He said that the people here have been suffering from extreme deprivation.
Therefore, a medical college will be established to eliminate these deprivations.
He said that non-functional health centers in Waziristan will be made functional.
He also said that he would give priority to bringing collective projects and mega projects in Lower Waziristan.
He said that Wana is an agricultural area whose water table is falling day by day, check dams and small dams will be constructed to restore water.
He said, the former government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa divided South Waziristan into two districts,
while the tribal minister is suffering from severe difficulties due to the slow bifurcation process.
He said, if the tribal elders succeeds me with a huge majority, then all efforts will be made to solve these problems.
