Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Wednesday condemned the “heinous conspiracy” aimed at undermining Pakistan’s security, dignity and development.
Addressing a press conference ahead of the first anniversary of the May 9 incident, he said that the May 9 incident was planned to hinder Pakistan’s development and weaken its national defence.
He said that he would expose this evil act, adding that no political party should be allowed to jeopardize the integrity of the country.
The Information Minister said Pakistan’s armed forces are the best in the world and cited the downing of two Indian jets as proof of their bravery and capability.
He warned that no political party would jeopardize the integrity of the country and the selfish interests of a small group would not be allowed to harm the nation.
Tarar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to protect its sovereignty and stand firm against attempts to undermine its security. He called for unity and solidarity among all citizens despite external threats and internal conspiracies.
