The Lahore Police on Wednesday decided to include former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in the investigation related to the May 9 vandalism.
According to the details, the police said, “Chaudhry will be part of the investigation related to the statement of the arrested accused. Evidence of Chaudhry’s involvement was found in the statement of the arrested accused.”
“Chaudhry has been granted interim bail in all cases. Chaudhry did not participate in the investigation in some cases,” said a police official.
Chaudhry will be part of the investigation in the absence of No. 97/23 registered at Sarwar Road police station.
It will also be part of the investigation in the absence of No. 366/23 registered in the Township Model.
In addition, Chaudhry will be part of the investigation in his absence. 103/23, registered at Jalan Sarwar Police Station.
