RAWALPINDI: The Rawalian Community Awareness Programme, in conjunction with the volunteer force against hepatitis transmission, recently organized a Medical Camp at SA Grammar School located in Dhoke Noor. The camp included two General Physicians, a gynaecologist and 20 students from Rawalpindi Medical University. With the help of the incredibly cooperative staff of SA Grammar School, 350+ individuals from the local community, including students, underwent treatment.
The outcome of this joint endeavour is a resounding success. The diligent efforts by the Rawalian Community Awareness Program and the Volunteer Force Against Hepatitis Transmission were met with enthusiastic participation from community members and students alike. Beside the diagnostic camp first aid, mother & child heal, breast cancer, cervical cancer, importance of life style modification, healthy eye sight, hand hygiene, oral hygiene and our role in infection control measures in society is very crucial to maintain healthy life pattern. Both societies, with a deep sense of purpose and shared objectives, anticipate future collaborations that will undoubtedly reinforce and extend the reach of this vital campaign.
