SWAT: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarian and former Chief Minister Mehmood Khan said that he was opposed the tax implementation in Malakand Division (PATA) and Ex. FATA, when he was a chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During our time there was pressure to impose taxes but we resisted and If it is decided to impose tax by force without the will of the people, then we will protest.
These views he said while addressing the meeting held by PTIP Malakand Division. Central Secretary General Malik Habib Noor Orkazai, Provincial President Habib Ali Shah, former finance minister Muzaffar Said, Ikramullah Khan, Brigadier (R) Saeed Khan and other officials of all the districts also addressed.
The party chairman Mehmood Khan was given full authority regarding political matters and the future plan of action.
Mehmood Khan said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government approved the budget before the federal government because of the fear of the decision of the case in the Supreme Court, added that I am the biggest loyalist of the founder PTI, on whose order he ended his government eight months ago.
“We had worked hard to raise the graph of Tehreek-e-Insaf in Malakand division. PTIP will also be raised in the province and Pakistan soon and I will fight for the development of the province and Pakistan to promote positive politics.
He said that in Swat, Dir, Chitral, Malakand, Buner and other districts, projects worth billions of rupees approved by me have been canceled and funds have been transferred to other districts.
“He played the role of a silent spectator on the right of the region Malakand division is being marginalized under a thought out plan, the leadership who are silent on the rights of Swat and Malakand division are accused of the people, he added that to strengthen the party will organize, party meetings will held at the level of every division of the province.
