Islamabad: A continuous spell of hot weather has gripped the entire country for several weeks. Expectations of rain are increasing due to the unsettled conditions caused by rising temperatures.
However, the rain between June 26 and July 1, as predicted by the Meteorological Department, will bring pleasant weather to provide much-needed relief to the public.
According to the Met department, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas and Karachi in Sindh will receive rain between June 26 and July 1.
Meanwhile, heavy rain and wind is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Bahwalpur and Lodhran from June 27 to July 1.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chitral, Swat, Mansehra and Abbottabad will witness heavy rains.
Additionally, the department has warned that there is a risk of urban flooding in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Narowal due to heavy rainfall from June 28 to June 30.
