ISLAMABAD: In an effort to improve pilgrimage facilitation, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Aneeq Ahmed announced on Thursday that the ministry will make available the biometric schedule and thorough training for Hajj travelers the next week.
Speaking with Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al Maliky, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, about the completion of arrangements for the upcoming Hajj, the minister stated that Pakistani pilgrims can now conveniently complete their Saudi Visa biometrics from the comfort of their homes.
According to the minister, special measures are being put into place to make it easier for Pakistani pilgrims to perform the Hajj this year. Moreover, the Hajj arrangements are being completed well ahead of the scheduled timeline.
Al Maliky, speaking at the event, congratulated the Pakistan Hajj Mission on being named one of the top three award-winning nations.
He praised Aneeq Ahmed for his commitment to providing Pakistani Hajj travelers with first-rate accommodations. He also commended the Pakistan Hajj Mission and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony for their work in offering facilities and services to Pakistani Hajjaj.
