SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: MNA Zubair Wazir held a detailed meeting with Chairman PTA Islamabad and DG Passport and Immigration Islamabad on Friday.
In the meeting, restoration of mobile 3G and 4G services in Waziristan and early issuance of pending passports of local tribes were discussed.
According to details, Constituency NA-42 South Waziristan Lower and Upper MNA Zubair Khan Wazir visited Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Friday.
MNA discussed internet service in detail with Chairman PTA Major General (retd) Hafeez Ur Rehman.
PTA Chairman assured to provide Internet service in South Waziristan (Upper and Lower).
In the meeting, the MNA also emphasized on fixing poor mobile signal, cellular data (3G-4G) and fiber uptake in South Waziristan Lower and Upper.
MNA Zubair Wazir told Dawn that in the present era, internet facility will be brought to every house and will prepare the young generation to join the world.
On the other hand, MNA Zubair Khan had a detailed meeting with Director General Passport and Immigration Islamabad Mustafa Jamal Qazi.
On this occasion MNA Zubair Khan emphasized to resolve the issue of passport renewal at Dera Ismail Khan Passport Office of local residents of Waziristan, and the DG on the spot issued orders to resolve the issue immediately.
Apart from this, issuing orders for printing of all pending passports of Wana Passport Office for January, February and March.
DG said that all the passports of Waziristan Wana Passport and Immigration Office will be printed by tomorrow and they will be delivered in a few days.
